NOTA BENE:
Every "political marks" here are ABSOLUTLY NOT propaganda stuffs. They are here only for historical purpose. Only to remember us the tragedies of our history.

Pant Shop - Clod personal 109 skin

I worked on a new personal skin for over a week.
It's not historical and never wanted to be. It's completely fictional, was made just for fun.
I started with my own 4096 template with a classic german squared camo because I think that perfectly suits the 109, she looks aggressive with it. Then change some color here and there, and then I started with points. There are 3 layers of them, one is softer.
Once it was completed I added some marks, the Italian tricolor in the rudder and my squadron's motto in the nose.
Most difficult part was doing the spiral on the prop since I had no template for that.
in the end I'm really happy with the final look.

IL-2 Clod Bf-109 E3 Galland Summer 1940

This was a very particular work. As for the Spitfire the 109 is another warbird that I really like.
And until now I hadn't done any skin for Clod about the Messerschmitt's fighter, so I took inspiration by a Tamiya model that I'm looking forward to buy.
I also wanted to see the difference in quality with a 4096 pixels BMP image instead the standard the 2048 JPG that I usually use for Clod.
I started with the standard 2048 Checkmysix's template (as always thanks for your work) but because of the camouflage and the new size I had to redone my template from scratch.
Was a pretty nice work especially from the emblem on the side that I made it using reference images found on web, using a better process than the one that I used for my Stukas skins. This time I use the paths tool instead of doing it by hand.
This is a historical skin representing the 109 flown by Galland in August 1940.
I've included nazi markings only for historical purposes.
However I included a version without it.

You will find 4 different skins.
2 are the 4096 BMP skins (W has nazi markings)
2 are standard 2048 JPG skins (W has nazi markings)

Hope you like it. Let me know if you have suggestions about it.
Enjoy it!

IL-2 Clod Spitfire Beurling Malta 1942 V_3

I was never happy about the colors for this skin so I edited them again.
I think this will be the final version (hope so, lol) since I now really like how it looks into the game.
Hope you will like it.

Paint Shop - CloD 109 Tie

I was boring tonight and since I'm still in Star Wars mood after the release of Rogue one (thanks for a good SW movie after that "thing" named Ep. 7) I simply made some tests.

IL-2 Clod Spitfire EB-G (P7350)

As you probably know I'm addicted to the Spitfire. For me is one of the best looking (if not THE best) fighter plane in history.
So since we have a good spit simulator I'm continuing do a lot of spitfire's skins.
Here a very particular one: Spitfire EB-G serial n°P7350 a BoB veteran that is still flying today.
Check this site for his history (http://www.raf.mod.uk/bbmf/theaircraft/spitfirep7350.cfm).

"Spitfire P7350 is the oldest airworthy Spitfire in the world and the only Spitfire still flying to have actually fought in the Battle of Britain. Believed to be the 14th of 11,989 Spitfires built at the Castle Bromwich ‘shadow’ factory in Birmingham, ‘P7’ entered service in August 1940. After serving initially with 266 Squadron at Wittering and Hornchurch at the height of the Battle of Britain, it was one of 13 Mk IIa Spitfires that were then transferred to 603 (City of Edinburgh) AuxAF Squadron at Hornchurch on 17 October 1940, to replace the Squadron’s older Mk 1s. P7350 is currently presented as Spitfire Mk 1a N3162 of No 41 Squadron, coded ‘EB-G’, the aircraft flown by the top-scoring Battle of Britain fighter ace Eric Lock on 5 September 1940, when he destroyed 3 enemy aircraft in a single sortie."

It was a very cool work to do, with lot's of stuff to recrate, like the yellow square, the black stripes on the wings and almost all the roundels and markings.
Note that this plane currently fly with the old '39 camouflage scheme so I had to do it from scratch since I normally use the '40 one which serves for the entire war.
I'll leave you with some shots, mine and some found on the net about the original one. Hope you like it!

IL-2 Clod Ju-87 B-2 Regia Aeronautica 237a sq Skin

Another historical skin (apart from the MM number that is randomic) for the Ju-87 B-2. This one belonged to 237a squadriglia of 96° Gruppo based on Lecce Galatina during Winter 1940. The tough part was rebuilding the devil logo of the 237 squadriglia using a photo. The process was the same for the duck of the previous skin but this was more difficult.

The devil's logo photo that I use to rebuilt it:

IL-2 Clod Ju-87 B-2 Regia Aeronautica 236a sq Skin

This is an historical skin of the "Picchiatello", the italian name for the Junkers 87 B-2 Stuka.
The one I choose to paint was one of the first stuka delivered to Regia Aeronautica in the summer  1940. It belonged to 236a squadriglia of 96° Gruppo based on Comiso, Sicily.
I enjoyed working on it and I probably will make other picchiatello skins in the future.
Thanks to checkmysix for his template that I used as a base to create mine.

IL-2 Clod Spitfire and Hurricane Skins

Here you can get my skins for spit and hurri. They are the same as my own ones. The only difference is that there are no marks on it, so you can paint your own. If you like some modification just let me know. Enjoy it!

IL-2 Clod Spitfire ICAF 51° Stormo Skin

I modify the last ICAF skin to make it more storical accurate. So now it has the marks of the 51° Stormo who really use the spit in the late part of WWII.

Paint Shop

I made this skin for a friend of VoloVirtuale.com.
It is a fictional skin based on ICAF (Italian CoBelligerant Air Force) with marks of 18 gruppo and 83° squadriglia "La Disperata". It was a funny work. I really enjoy it.

I use this picture found on the web as a reference:

Never released

This was a work for the virtual airline of VoloVirtuale.com
Many ideas, many tests on the Ifly 737 but nothing finished. However it was a good skin IMHO.

P.S. The tail logo was made by the guys of VV.

Never released

This was an old work on the Ifly 737 for Fs9. I never released it because it had some problem in the connection of the blue line on the tail. It went into the "never done" folder.

Just few shots

Some of the skin that I use in Il-2 Clod. I made them using Checkmysix' s fantastic templates.

Falcon BMS AMI Block 50 Repaint

This is a fictional repaint for the standard BMS model F-16 Block 50. It is fictional because AM
never use the F-16C. This skin is based on the 23° Gruppo from 5° stormo F-16 ADF that flew
from 2003 to 2010 during Peace Caesar program.
N.B. The skin doesn't have the 69 tail number. That's my personal one. It has the 51.
